Returns

Coffee + Tea

We don’t accept returns for any coffee purchases, even if the package was not opened. If your coffee order arrives damaged or unsatisfactory in any manner, we will either provide you with a full refund or send you a replacement coffee order.

Merch, Equipment, and other non-perishable goods

Our return policy lasts 14 days from the date of delivery, as noted by the carrier. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we cannot offer you a refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, unopened, unread and in the same condition that you received it. All items must also be in the original packaging. Items purchased at a discount and/or marked final sale are FINAL SALE and are not eligible for return. 

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, milk, coffee, tea alongside magazines and books cannot be returned. Any item that is not in its original condition, damaged, or missing parts for reasons not due to our error, are not eligible for return or exchange.

Requesting a Return

To request a return please send an email to hello@obetanddels.com with the following information:

  • your order number
  • whether or not the package was opened;
  • whether you want to exchange the item or request a refund;
  • the reason for your return or exchange; and
  • If the reason for the return is due to damage or defectiveness upon arrival, pictures of the box the item arrived in, how it was packaged, and the product.

Refunds (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item(s). We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 3-7 business days. If your refund is rejected, we will send the item back to the original shipping address. 

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at hello@obetanddels.com.

Exchanges (if applicable)

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at hello@obetanddels.com and send your item to the address below. 

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you. If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver.

We require a receipt or proof of purchase. Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer. Original shipping charges are non-refundable, and returns are shipped at your expense to our office in Los Angeles, CA. You should use a trackable shipping service or purchase shipping insurance. Otherwise we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item, and accept no responsibility for lost packages.
